Private Strings Lessons with Kurt Wilk
Violin, Viola, Cello and Double Bass lessons are available for beginner – intermediate students ages 7 – adults. Various styles of music will be explored including Baroque, Classical, Romantic, 20th Century, fiddle-tunes, and popular music.
With a contemporary approach to beginning strings lessons, Mr Kurt Wilk, will guide students through fundamental techniques such as pizzicato (plucking) and arco (bowing) techniques. Students will enjoy making music and practicing while building beat keeping skills and aural skills. The backing tracks are crucial to learning and make excellent performance tracks for family performances – Family will love it!
As musicians progress, they may consider performing at the Mackay Eisteddfod, joining a community orchestra or completing a music examination.
